A full review of the Betty Hula range!

We are excited to have had our products reviewed by Laura-Jayn who discovered the Betty Hula range in her local Sainsbury's and fell in love. We do love to get a review through from a satisfied customer so naturally we were really excited to read this!

Here is what Laura-Jayn thinks about our Secret Wonder Oil:

"It claims to help relieve signs of wrinkles and aging skin and also help repair damaged skin. I decided to put this to the test my using it on some stretch marks I had on my legs, and after using it each night since Christmas, I feel like the marks have actually started to become less red. I have looked at other reviews on the website and other people are saying they’ve noticed the same so I don’t think its just in my head!!"

Have a read of the review here, and support the lovely Laura-Jayn by following her new beauty and nail bog here. Happy reading hunnies!

Welcome to Jayne's Kitschen

Jayne's 'Kitschen' is a wonderful blog featuring alternative fashion, beauty and baking with a kitsch, vintage twist!

This sounded right up our street so we sent her some of our Shea Butter Moisturisers to try!
'The scents are both lovely and long lasting, creating a solid perfume effect if desired. Champagne & Spice was my favourite, I love the spicy notes, it’s a warm scent with a hint of coconut. Rum & Blackcurrant is sweeter, with a berry scent as the main note, very delicious.'

Betty Hula hits YouTube

We have been reviewed by lovely YouTube beauty v-logger LittleMissNC25.
LittleMissNC25 has featured our gorgeous Champagne & Spice Shea Butter Moisturiser as one of her favourite products for January – She finds herself always reaching for it and thinks the smell is addictive – We couldn’t agree with her more!

See the video above for the full review – We are at 07:18.

Sweet Fantastico

Beauty blogger Sweet Fantastico has reviewed two of our scrumptious Shea Butter Moisturisers – Rum & Blackcurrant and Champagne & Spice!

‘What I really loved about the creams was the fact that although they are mega thick, there is no grease whatsoever. Once you massage the product in, it barely leaves a sheen. This is good for all of you who just want to apply and go!
My elbows and knees, definitley felt hydrated. This is probably due to the fact that along with Shea Butter, they use Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E.’

Stretch-mark Superhero

Trying your hardest to avoid or banish those stretch marks? Think Baby have compiled their top 10 list of pregnancy and post-baby stretch mark creams and oils that could help. Click here to check out their top 10.

Our ‘Secret’ Wonder Oil has been included in their top ten – it has received amazing reviews from magazines and bloggers, including this post from beauty blogger Christina who recommended it for melting away stretch marks! Click here to read her review and find out why she loves it so much!

This wonder oil is also great at nourishing your skin during harsh weather and is especially great at soothing and repairing problem areas such as Eczema. Betty’s rich Secret oil just needs to be applied with a cotton wool pad – a tiny bit will go a very long way.

Rub gently into your skin in small circles and then allow to soak in for a couple of minutes. After half an hour or so you should see you skin looking visibly re-nourished and patches of eczema soothed!

Looking Back

We've had a lot going on over the past couple of weeks at Betty Hula HQ so thought it was time to share some of our news with you!

We were delighted to discover that 'The Secret' has been featured on the Glamour Magazine Website in their fast beauty section and is currently the product that consumers have voted they are Most In Love with! Click here to find out what they said.

We have also had our products reviewed by the lovely Sherrie who runs the gorgeous beauty blog 'Mirror mirror on the wall'. Click here to follow the blog and find out what Sherrie thought about our products!

Those of you that follow us on Facebook and Twitter will probably already know that we were at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham from the 3rd to the 8th of December - we did talk about it quite a lot! It was our first year at the show so we were very excited about exhibiting (and perhaps a little nervous).
We are happy to report that the show went really well - it was lovely to meet so many of you that we have been chatting to, and to introduce others to the brand and let them sample the range! We also picked up some lovely purchases from the other brands exhibiting including some lovely Models Own products that we will no doubt rave about in another post! If you couldn't make it to the show here are pictures of our gorgeous little stand and the catwalk show that went on throughout the week:

If you want to see more you can view a little video of what went on during day one of the show here.
Please tag yourself in our pictures if you were photographed as one of our Clothes Show 2010 Hula Hunnies!
And last (but certainly not least) thank you all of you for following our blog and helping make this such an exciting time for us!
So did any of you come along to the show and what did you think of it?
